TRAC (Three Rivers Athletic Conference) All-Conference Selections (Full 12 Year History)

As the 2022-23 Lady Spartans basketball season came to a close last week, we thought it would be a great time to look back on some of the history surrounding the Lima Senior girls basketball program. In terms of TRAC (Three Rivers Athletic Conference) All-Conference teams, the Lady Spartans have had numerous players receive this honor throughout the now 12 years of the conference.

In 2012, sophomore Indiya Benjamin made the TRAC 1st Team, while Michaen Williamson and Jazmine Thomas were honorable mentions.

In 2013, (now junior) Indiya Benjamin was awarded a TRAC 1st Team selection for the second year in a row, while senior Stacia Allen was selected on the TRAC 2nd Team. Two freshman’s were honorable mentions including Rion Thompson and Essence Cowan.

In 2014, senior Indiya Benjamin was awarded TRAC Player of the Year as well as selected on the TRAC 1st Team. Sophomore Rion Thompson was also selected on the TRAC 1st Team. Junior Imara Haynes and sophomore Essence Cowan were honorable selections.

In 2015, junior Rion Thompson was a TRAC 1st Team selection, while junior Essence Cowan was awarded a TRAC 2nd Team selection. Senior Imara Haynes was selected as an honorable mention.

In 2016, senior Rion Thompson was selected on the TRAC 1st Team, while senior Essence Cowan was awarded a TRAC 2nd Team selection. Junior Kierre James and freshman Destiny McDonald were honorable mentions.

In 2017, senior Kierre James was selected on the TRAC 1st Team, while sophomores Destiny McDonald and Talor Washington were honorable mentions.

In 2018, freshman Nakiya Sigman was awarded a TRAC 2nd Team selection, while juniors Destiny McDonald and Talor Washington were awarded as honorable mentions.

In 2019, senior Desitiny McDonald was awarded a TRAC 1st Team selection, while sophomore Nakiya Sigman was selected on the TRAC 2nd Team. Senior Talor Washington and sophomore Ryann Miller were selected as honorable mentions.

In 2020, junior Nakiya Sigma was selected on the TRAC 1st Team, while senior Ajohlon Bullock was awarded TRAC 2nd Team honors. Senior Lexi Williams and junior Cheyanna Bean were selected as honorable mentions.

In 2021, seniors Cheyanne Bean and Nakiya Sigman were awarded TRAC 2nd Team honors, while senior Samya Wright was selected as an honorable mention.

In 2022, juniors Ayrianna Engberg and Tillie Nelson were selected as honorable mentions.

In 2023, seniors Tillie Nelson and Tianna Spivey were awarded honorable mention honors.
