Lima Alum Coaching in NBA G-League!

Travis Walton attended Lima Senior High School from 2001-2005. As a senior, he was the 2005 Northwest Ohio Player of the Year, first-team All-State honoree, Greater Buckeye League Player of the Year and Lima Player of the Year while averaging 20 points, six rebounds and five assists. He attended Michigan State from 2005-2009 and was undrafted in the 2009 NBA draft. Walton was picked up by the Detroit Pistons after the draft and was on their 2009 Summer League roster. He then played in Europe in Switzerland and Germany. Walton played in the NBA D-League for the Dakota Wizards in 2011. In 2012, he played for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants and the Canton Charge. Walton then was an assistant coach with the Salt Lake City Stars of the NBA G League. He currently is an assistant coach with the Agua Caliente Clippers.
