First Time in School History, Lima Senior Softball Beats Notre Dame!!

This is the first time in school history that Lima Senior softball beats Notre Dame, 10-5 and 11-1 in their doubleheader. Within that win, there was a full team effort with five home runs in the second game. Ti'ana Spivey, Matilda Nelson, Mallory Gipson, Emma Hipsher, Alyecia Hollon (inside the park). Anna Engberg got the win in the first game and then came in relief to close out the second. Dakota Lewis pitched the best game of her career. Throughout their innings, Lima Senior was dominating in the second and sixth inning the most.

Along with their victorious win, Lima Senior has even more talent on their team. Some of the athletes here are dual sport athletes and have participated in something else. Alyecia Hollon; Senior has played soccer in the fall of 2022. She was chosen as team captain and helped guide her team to be better. Bryan Stratton was very happy and proud of her athletes for this long accomplishment. Now they are on to play Perry today. Good Luck to Lima Senior softball!!
