After graduating Lima Senior in 2022, freshman Da'Realyst Clark impressed the Defiance College coaches with his speed and athleticism. His speed was a key factor in why he received HCAC Newcomer of the Year. He was most lethal in kick returns as he averaged 26.7 yards per return, which was second-best in the conference. He had 3 different games with 135 or more return yards which accounted for three of the HCAC's top six kick return games of the year. Clark was one of seven returners in D3 to have multiple kicks for scores this season. Can't forget Clark as a receiver as well as he racked up 278 yards on 17 catches and also had two touchdowns. His 16.4 yards per reception ranked sixth among HCAC wideouts. Clark looks to make more noise next year as he will still have 5th-year Senior Quarterback Jordan Ambrose to have a connection with.
