Keegan Halliday received all league honors for all four seasons as a member of LSH soccer team. He also has two years of varsity tennis under his belt. Halliday not only uses his head for soccer but for studies as well. He was chosen as the Mcdonalds scholar athlete of the week. His soccer coach stated that he works hard every day, comes in and puts in the work. He comes in early and leaves late. Halliday plays soccer in the fall and tennis in the spring. Halliday says he started playing soccer when he was four years old, and his dad played tennis. In 2019-2020, he's received back-to-back honorable mention and in 2021-2022 he received back-to-back first team all-league honors. He's also ranked second in his class with a 4.19 G.P.A. When he graduates, Halliday plans to major in sports and exercise psychology at West Virginia University. He felt that it would benefit him to find a career that benefits and satisfies him with both his interest in sports and psychologically why we do the things we do. Halliday wants to be remembered as a leader and help others find and pursue their passion.
This tennis season for LSH boys' varsity tennis, they had played April 4th vs Whitmer High School at 4:30 pm. Keegan Halliday got the tennis win that night at Whitmer, congratulations to him!!
