2018 Lady Spartans Alum at the MAC Track and Field Championships!

Briana Wright: Kent State, Suerethia Henderson: North Illinois University

Briana Wright, and alumni of Lima Senior High School finished 7th in the Women's Weight Throw. She will graduate in May with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science. During her years at Lima Senior High School, she participated in football, wrestling, indoor and outdoor track & field. During her years at Lima HS, she maintained A's and B's and honor roll. She received varsity letter in football, wrestling, both indoor and outdoor track. She was the captain for indoor track. She held multiple school records for track, while medaling at the state for indoor and outdoor track. Braina graduated from Lima Senior HS in 2018 with all those accomplishments.

During her time at Lima, she wasn't always just an athlete. She also participated in clubs and organizations such as LAYO, NHS- National Honor Society, Lima AAU track club and many more. She stated that Lima has prepared her well for college. She is in her 5th year at Kent State, studying exercise physiology. Briana is looking forward to becoming a future Physician's Assistant.

The other female in the picture is Suerethia Henderson. She will be graduating from NIU in May with a master's in finance.

A: 2018

Q: What sports did you do?

A: Football, Wrestling, Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field

Q: What accomplishments and awards did you receive for athletics and academics?

A: A/B Honor Roll, Varsity Letter in Football, Wrestling and Indoor and Outdoor Track, Indoor track team captain, multiple school records for track, medaling at state for indoor and outdoor track.

Q: What year are you in college and what are you studying?

A: 5th year, Exercise Physiology
